Rakesh Bhardwaj

Director of Operations
Ensuring and implementing right processes and practices across corporation. Specific duties include formulating strategies, improving performance, procuring materials and resources. Sandra

I come to my work as a therapist as a third career. After majoring in Economics at the University of Toronto, I held a management position in the pharmaceutical industry for many years until deciding to stay at home to raise my children, who are now both in university. Upon returning to work, it was important to me to be engaged in a therapeutic way — putting life experience to use in the support of others. I returned to school as a mature student to complete the Master in Psychology program, and am in my third year as a Counselor in the clinic.

Jessica

To suffer is human – but to grow and heal is also human. In life, you might experience stress, anxiety, self-criticism, anger, sleep disturbance, chronic pain and disability, difficult transitions or relationships, and other challenges. Sometimes, you might feel so stuck or overwhelmed that your usual coping tools are not quite enough. It can be helpful to seek support from a professional who empowers you to overcome life’s challenges by helping you tap into your inner resources and develop new ones. I am a therapist with years of experience offering such support.
I serve older youth and adults with diverse backgrounds and concerns. Using CBT, Mindfulness, ACT, and other therapies, I support clients in changing how they relate to themselves and their experiences; modifying unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaving; increasing their understanding of their emotions; and cultivating skills to improve mental health.
I use an integrative approach to tailor therapy to individuals’ unique needs and goals. I help clients find self-compassion and inner peace in the present moment while facing hardships. I value culturally sensitive, anti-oppressive, accessible therapy; and I endeavour to bring empathy, authenticity, insight, and calm into the therapy room and clients’ lives.

I employ strong clinical skills, dedication to exceptional client care and growth so that clients can get desired professional support to address their issues and challenges in a positive and trustworthy manner.
